GUIDE · LOCALIZATION
Dear Passengers Supported Languages and Localization Status
Steam's six listed interface languages, what the empty audio and subtitle columns mean, and why this independent site's translations are a separate promise.
Reporting rule: confirmed facts are tied to named sources. Interpretation is labeled, and missing details stay unknown until FLEXUS or Steam publishes them.
Current Steam list: English, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Japanese have interface checkmarks. Steam does not currently mark full audio or subtitles for any language.
Interface, subtitles, and full audio are different fields
An interface checkmark normally covers menus, buttons, settings, and other user-interface text. It does not automatically promise translated dialogue, captions, voice acting, every piece of environmental text, or parity on the first day of a demo. Steam separates those capabilities because players use them for different accessibility and purchasing needs.
Website language is not game-language support
This independent site also publishes Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and French briefings. Those pages explain the game to readers; they do not add those languages to the software. The official Steam language table remains the deciding source for the game itself.
A translated fan guide is editorial access. A checked Steam field or direct developer statement is product localization. Keep the two claims visibly separate.
What to verify when a demo appears
- Whether all six interface languages are present in the demo build
- Font rendering, text overflow, right-to-left layout, and input prompts
- Caption options for spoken or important non-verbal audio
- Whether language can be changed in game without restarting
- Differences between demo language coverage and the full release plan
The current language table is also recorded in the source ledger. If Steam adds or removes a checkmark, the live storefront should take priority over this dated explanation.
